BADMINTON TIPS: HOW TO WIN IN A FRIENDLY BADMINTON MATCH

Badminton is a fun sport. After training yourself and build your confidence, winning the match is what next on your mind.
Here are some easy tips to win in a badminton match.

STEP 1
First of all you, need to stretch out first. Make sure you relax all your muscle and have enough warm-ups before playing badminton. Playing badminton is an all-body workout. If you don't do this, you will get sore muscles the following day.

STEP 2
When doing serve, aim to just slightly above the net. Therefore, your opponent won't have a chance to deep serve you right away after the first serve.

STEP 3
Try to avoid hitting to the middle, make your opponent run. The goal is to keep your opponent running on every hit you make. Hit far, close, left, right. Don't let your opponent catch a breath.

STEP4
When doing a smash, try jumping as it will give you a leverage to hit the shuttlecock to go down sharply. Whenever possible, try to hit the shuttlecock around the top part of your racket so you can control the direction better.

STEP 5
After hitting, always return the middle area in your half court. Therefore, you have higher chance to catch any direction where the shuttlecock would land the next time your opponent hit it.

STEP 6
If the shuttlecock land close by the net, hit it hard downward before it gets below the net. If it's not possible, hit it long so your opponent cannot smash it easily.

Tips & Warnings
• Get a good badminton racket, it should be lightweight and have good tension on the string.
